This technology is based on a capacitive matrix, obtained by placing conductive microfilaments between 2 plastic films. The touch with one or more fingers causes the variation of the electrostatic field, determining its position. These sensors are multi-touch and can work under different thicknesses. They can also be laminated directly on the surface you chose to use as touch (even if curved).
